Three of Cora's Highlights

This is a post about three places I went.

  

  

At the Gulfarium (Fort Walton, Florida) we saw dolphins walking with their tails! It was really cool. We saw them doing front flips. I got to feed a dolphin and pet it. I had to hold the fish to feed it, and it was really slimy. The dolphin felt like slippery rubber. 

We got to see lots of cool fish and snakes. I didn't think snakes lived in the water but there are special types called water snakes. It's pretty obvious, the name. We got to see otters, too. I got a toy one that has a bow! We saw alligators, too. In Australia there are crocodiles. We also saw lion fish, seals, and clown fish, too.  

At the Rosa Parks Museum (Montgomery, Alabama) there was a time machine like a bus. Rosa Parks got arrested on a bus for not getting up off her seat when the driver asked her to get up for a white person to sit down. She was black. She didn't want to get up because she thought that everyone should be treated equally and that's true, everyone should.

We went to a Downton Abbey exhibit (Atlanta, Georgia). Downton Abbey is a show. I don't even watch it but my mom does. That's why we went there. My mom, me, and my grandma. Not my brothers or dad or grandpa. We got to see really fancy stuff. There was a lot of cups and different types of knives. They had really fancy dresses. 

Did you know that the parents in Downton Abbey weren't with their children most of the day? The children didn't get to spend time with their parents because they had a nanny who looked after them the whole day except for one hour. The women in Downton Abbey wear tiaras when they are married.
