Back to the Future - the Musical!
We went to a musical play in the City of London. By the way, London and the City of London are different. We dropped Mum and Cora off at the Matilda play and then we waited in line to give our tickets so we could enter the Adelphi theatre. When we got into the theatre I was surprised how much decorations they had on the stage when the play hadn't even started.
I said to Dad that I wanted some candy. But when we got there it was way too expensive. It was 5 pounds for a small ice cream cup of 180mls which is half of an actual cup. 5 pounds is nearly $10 in Australia. Then we all went to the toilet because the play was going to be nearly 3 hours long. It was 10 minutes until the play started.
The opening scene was Marty Mcfly walking into the Doc's house, but the Doc was not there. Marty was looking around and found a big speaker with an electric guitar. He plugged the guitar in and played it. The speaker blew up with a loud bang! Then there was a computer message from the Doc saying to Marty to meet him at the Mall at 1:20am. Then they did the whole Delorian car thing. But I am not going to explain the whole musical because that would be 8 pages.
The funniest bit for me was when George Mcfly was trying to ask Lorraine to the "Enchantment under the Sea Dance". He was trying to say "I am your destiny", but instead he said "I am your DENSITY!". Normally in the movie he would say it right on the second go. But in the play, to make it more interesting, they made it so instead he said on the third go "I am your DENTIST!". I think that the best actor was also George McFly because he was exactly like in the movie but just a bit more exaggerated. He sounded and looked exactly the same.
The reason I like the "Back to the future" series is because all 3 movies are the same but set in different times. Good bye for now, I have to go and fix the flux capacitor.
