Masks in Venice

 

We went to Venice. I got a mask. Now you might be thinking, "Cora, didn't you already have a mask because of Covid?"

Well actually, in Venice there are two types of masks. There are the masks because of Covid and then there are the masks because of the "Carnival". My favourite masks are the ones for the Carnival. 

Firstly, the Carnival masks do not hurt your ears. Secondly, they are more colourful and look better than the Covid masks. Thirdly, the Carnival masks don't stop you from breathing. 

We saw a unicorn. You might be thinking "Unicorns are not real Cora". But it is just pretend.

We did a walking tour in Venice. It was a very good tour. The name of the tour guide was Andrea. The mask in this picture with the long white nose and the black hat is what the doctors wore during the plague when lots of people died. 

We saw a lot of different masks.
