Matilda the Musical

In London, we saw a play about Matilda. There was a lot of singing in the play. Matilda sang the same song a few times. There was also binoculars. You put a 1 pound coin into this machine thing and you could use the binoculars to see things closer. There was also disco balls.

There was a cool feature in the play. We saw Miss Trenchball hold onto someone's hair and swing them around and throw them up. Then she fell down from the sky and someone caught her and all of the kids cheered.

There was another cool feature. You know there was a bit where Matilda puts blond stuff into her Dad's hair gel so then when he put it on, his hair turned yellowish green. It was really funny.

There was another cool feature. There was chalk that was writing by itself. Matilda could move stuff with her mind. She was actually moving the chalk with her mind. She also moved a cup to tip over and she tipped it over with her mind.

The play was more deep than the actual movie because in the play Matilda liked telling stories to the librarian. The story she told the Librarian turned out to be a true story about Miss Honey's parents. Matilda was just very smart.

One time Matilda put super glue in her Dad’s hat and when he put it on, it got stuck! The parents did not appreciate that they had a child. They did not appreciate their child. They did not think she was special. But she was. Every child is special. But she was a very smart child. She knew her times tables when she was 4.She knew how to read lots of hard words.

Ask you Mum if you can watch Matilda some time! Or ask your Dad.
